The Clever Ant And the Lazy grasshopper.

 Once upon a time, there was a diligent and hardworking ant who spent the warm months of summer gathering and storing food for the upcoming winter. The ant worked tirelessly, carrying grains and storing them in its anthill.


On the other hand, there was a carefree and lazy grasshopper who spent his days singing and playing, without a worry about the future. The grasshopper mocked the ant for working so hard and advised it to relax and enjoy th

 


As the seasons changed and winter arrived, the lazy grasshopper found himself hungry and cold. He realised that he had not prepared for the harsh conditions ahead. Desperate and hungry, he went to the ant and begged for some food.

The clever ant, who had wisely prepared for the winter, responded, "While I was busy working hard and preparing for the future, you were busy singing and dancing. Now, you must bear the consequences of your laziness."


The moral of the story is that "hard work and diligence are rewarded, while laziness and procrastination lead to difficulties in the future. This fable has been retold in various cultures and languages, emphasising the timeless lesson of the importance of foresight and industriousness."
